Victorian Terrace Extension

A roomy rear extension plus a new en-suite bedroom for a family short of space.

Completed white-rendered rear extension with French doors and a planted garden

About the project

A prime example of adding value to a property. Natalia added a functional, roomy extension to a house that lacked space for the family. The Victorian terrace was extended so the new space connects seamlessly with the rest of the ground floor.

The space under the stairs and the former kitchen became an en-suite bedroom.

The project did not need planning permission but did require building regulations approval, as most extensions do. Building regulations are minimum standards for the design, construction and alteration of virtually every building.
