S–06Kitchen & Bathroom Design

Kitchen and bathroom design and renovation

What this service is

We redesign kitchens and bathrooms to get more out of the same footprint — often adding a room in the process. Typical results include dividing one large bathroom into two, creating an en-suite, or fitting a complete family kitchen plus a small office behind sliding panels.

Kitchens and bathrooms are where good planning pays most. Every centimetre counts, services have to work, and the finishes need to last.

In a four-storey Victorian house in Northampton with only one bathroom, we divided it into two. In a London studio flat, we fitted a full kitchen and a guest room/office using sliding panels, with storage right up to the ceiling.

FAQ

Kitchen & Bathroom Design: your questions

Can you split one bathroom into two?

Yes, if the room is large enough and drainage can be routed sensibly. We have done this twice: in a big Victorian house, creating an additional en-suite, and in a four-level Victorian house in Northampton that previously had a single bathroom. It is one of the best ways to add value.

Can a small kitchen also give me an extra room?

Often. For a studio flat we divided a large kitchen with sliding panels to create a small office or guest room, while the new kitchen still held everything a small family needs by using all the space up to the ceiling.

Do you only design, or do you also install?

Both. We can provide design drawings only, or design and manage the whole installation with our team of builders, coordinating plumbing, electrics, tiling and joinery through to completion.
